Today, Microsoft has confirmed that Satya Nadella is substituting Steve Ballmer as its next CEO who announced his intention to retire in August.
According to Microsoft report, Satya Nadella brings a relentless drive for innovation and a spirit of cooperation for their new role.
Nadella was previously classified company in the cloud and business enterprise. He has been with Microsoft for 22 years. While his previous responsibilities he looked after the division, which had $19 billion annual revenue, Microsoft CEO post step up for him.
The company produces about $78 billion a year and is now faced with the challenges of a market where Apple and Google there are more interesting and innovative technology companies.
Nadella graduated from a degree in engineering from Manipal University before heading to the U.S. for higher education. He joined Microsoft in 1992.
