World’s First Android Bootkit Malicious Programs found by Russian Security Researchers

Security Researchers of the Russian anti -virus vendor claim to have found the world’s first Android bootkit, malicious programs designed to re-infect devices even after a thorough cleanup.

Russian AV vendor Dr. Web users warned to watch out for certain modified Android firmware. The company says the firmware most likely source of infection who believed that the world's first Android bootkit - malicious software that, once installed, lies deep within the OS, and it is still difficult to detect and remove completely.

Malicious program set to offer Android Oldboot attacker attacks common features, such as between your device and a remote server to download, install or uninstall some programs call, according to Dr. Web.
