ZTE and Huawei Expected to launch Its Own Brands of Portable SmartDevices

Mobile vendors based in China, including ZTE and Huawei, is expected to launch its own brands of portable SmartDevices the first half of 2014 after a huge market demand for these gadgets. It is expected that ZTE and Huawei will present their products at CES 2014 smartwatches held an exhibition at the earliest, according to Digitimes.

TCL also launched its smart watches, called the boom band, which is paired with its latest flagship phone Idol X +. Xiaomin Technology also has plans to venture into smartwatches production, the report added.

The move comes as Coolpad launched its first smartwatch equipped with 1.2-inch screen, which makes navigation through the content of the messages, calendar reminders and calls via Bluetooth.
